DELAWARE DIVISION OF REVENUE BACK TAX RELIEF

Get started resolving your state tax liabilities using the information below.  If you still need help, reach out to us using the contact form to the right of this page.

Check out the DE-DOR’s Collections Web Page first.  It’s a pretty good place to begin compared to other state’s tax collection web pages.

DE-DOR Monthly Payment Plan

A few basics about setting up Installment Payments.  You can find more online.

IA’s over 24 months require that payment be automatically deducted from the bank or paycheck to avoid a lien.

A taxpayer may pay on an automatic deduction installment agreement for up to 48 months without requiring the filing of a judgment.

Installment agreements in excess of 48 months require a judgment be filed.

A Judgment is similar to a Tax Lien.

A Warrant is similar to a Levy.

State of Delaware Offer in Compromise

The DE-DOR had an Offer in Compromise as recently as 2016, but was no where to be found in our most recent search.

However, you may qualify for a Delay in Collection, which is a temporary delay in collection until your financial condition approves.
